A few starting thoughts.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the immensity of responsibility involved in developing characters.  In my first book, Time in Eternity, I spent a lot of time away from my keyboard thinking about situational reactions for each character.  For example, how would a man react to a violent adversity when he was brought up in the late 1400's?  How would it differ from people who were raised in today's world?

A concept like premarital sex seems almost quaint by today's standards, but we must imagine the value placed on virtue by a renaissance era Spanish Nobleman.

This and other things serve to give depth and meaning to my characters as my writing continues on in the second book in the series, Stolen Eternity.  Those of you that have read the first book will not be disappointed in the direction of the new book.  More of the characters' pasts will be revealed, more relationships are refined and developed, and more adversaries rise up to challenge Adrian and Marie's world.

All I can ask is that you are a little patient, so that I may produce the best product in the best way I know how!

  1. I am hoping to learn more about Adrian's past, it would be nice to see how his personality developed, and how being an immortal has changed him. Looking forward to the next read!
